This stack will assist you in understanding some of today's (and yesterday's) terms that one encounters every day in the world of electronic music.

You will find definitions of words dealing with synthesizers, samplers, MIDI, effects devices, recording engineering, computer hardware and software, keyboards, drum machines, digital recording workstations, as well as information about number systems, analog synthesis, digital synthesis, Fourier Transform, etc.

Feel free to add cards to this stack with definitions, all I ask is that before you pass the stack on, make sure the definitions are correct.
